After 12 years of service at Westbury Medical Care and Rehab, Jennifer Vasil has been named administrator of the Jackson, GA, facility.
Vasil graduated from nearby Jackson High School in 2003, and she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Georgia College and State University. After a stint as an emergency room nurse, she started her career at Westbury as a Medicare nurse. She later served as MDS coordinator, RN supervisor and assistant administrator.
She now takes over daily leadership of the family-owned Westbury and its 196 beds. Vasil also serves on the board of the Butts County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, which is 2011 named Westbury local business of the year.
