The next CMS Long-Term Services and Supports Open Door Forum will take place at 2 p.m. ET with an updated agenda that includes a new nursing home staffing rule update.

Featured announcements and updates will pertain to home- and community-based services provisions in the Access Rule, a Medicaid institutional payment transparency provision in the Minimum Staffing Rule, and recent guidance on the HCBS Quality Measure Set.

As usual, opening remarks will kick off the hour-long session, this time from Jodie Sumeracki, senior advisor with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, while Jill Darling of the CMS Office of Communications will moderate the discussion.

Attendees also will be able to take part in the standard Q&A segment near the end of the call. Top issues of the day are expected to be discussed by federal regulators, who recommend attendees call in the forum 15 minutes before its start.

This call will be a Zoom webinar with these registration and login instructions.

The meeting ID is: 160 823 4591 and the passcode is 200020.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. You may also add the webinar to your calendar using the drop-down arrow on the “Webinar Registration Approved” web page after registering. Although the ODFs are now a Zoom webinar, organizers will use only the audio function, so cameras do not need to be turned on.

CMS officials note that the Open Door Forum is open to everyone.

TTY Communications Relay Services are available for the Hearing Impaired. For TTY services dial 7-1-1 or 1-800-855-2880. A Relay Communications Assistant will help.
