Touchtown’s 2019 LeadingAge booth

Touchtown’s “Trail to Engagement” booth was a fan favorite at the LeadingAge annual meeting, landing the coveted People’s Choice Award with its back-to-nature display.

The booth depicted a campground-like setting complete with camp chairs, “burning” cardboard logs, piped-in bird chatter, trail mix and handmade markers that encouraged visitors to follow the trail to engagement. Those who walked the path learned about Touchtown’s unique engagement solutions, from interactive kiosks and digital signs to community apps, TVs and in-room channels.

“We conceptualized this booth together, and each of our team members produced one or more of the booth’s elements — the logs, the signs, and of course, our trail mix,” said Christian Kratsas, TouchTown’s director of marketing.

Over 6,200 meeting registrants toured the trade show floor this year; conference-goers and exhibitors alike cast votes for the best-in-show competition among the hundreds of vendor booths.

“Going that extra mile helped us spark especially great connections with attendees that lead to big conversations on problems and solutions in senior living,” said Content Specialist Morgan McCoy. “We’re pretty pleased that attendees felt as strongly about it as we did and showed it by voting us Best Booth!”

Other EXPO winners from this year’s show included:

  • Best Inline Booth to Policy Concepts
  • Best Island Booth to MatrixCare
  • Best New Exhibitor to NYMBC
