Telemedicine provider Specialists On Call Inc. said it has developed and launched a new telemedicine cart for use in healthcare facilities throughout the United States.
The cart, in conjunction with SOC’s telemedicine infrastructure and software capabilities, delivers a fully-interactive, easy-to-use, and more affordable alternative for facilities, the company said.
The cart has a medical-grade 22-inch multi-touch display with a keyboard and works in low bandwidth settings. The touchscreen provides users with a convenient way to request a patient consultation and perform other tasks during care delivery.
SOC will showcase its telemedicine solutions in Booth #208 at the American Telemedicine Association Fall Forum in New Orleans.
