Sunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehab of Illinois has named Brandi Melton its new executive director. The 99-bed skilled nursing facility provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care in an intimate and compassionate environment.
Melton has served various populations in the human services sector over the past 10 years. Before joining Sunrise, she operated a skilled nursing and dialysis center in Marseilles, IL. She holds a master’s degree in human services from the University of Illinois and is nearing completion of a second master’s in public health and administration from Benedictine University.
“My passion is advocating for the rights of our aging and disabled populations to ensure they receive the best quality of life and consistency,” said Melton.
Sunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehab provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing care, secure Alzheimer’s/memory care, respite care, wound care, IV therapy, pain management, diabetes management, catheter care and restorative therapy.
