STANLEY Healthcare showcased its Arial® 9 Wireless Emergency Call solution with built-in wander management capability at the Assisted Living Federation of America Exposition last week in Phoenix.
Arial 9, which will be in wide release this summer, offers wireless Nurse Call functionality from fixed call points, and Emergency Call via portable pendants. It also has built-in wander management capacity, integration of existing nurse call solutions, consolidated event management, advanced reporting and event notification to mobile devices. It is being targeted to the assisted living market.
Assisted living providers “told us that they needed a solution that would cover multiple use cases: not only emergency call, but wander management, access control, reporting and benchmarking, care planning and more,” said Mike Webster, Senior Solutions Manager, Long Term Care and Security at STANLEY Healthcare.
The product should increase safety for all residents, push information directly to staff for efficient workflow and allow for tracked response times. It is compatible with existing emergency call solutions, the company said.
