A $70 million senior living community north of Long Lake in Minnesota has been granted a special use permit by the Stillwater City Council, according to local reports.
The project is titled The Lakes at Stillwater. A development agreement between Goodman Group and the city must still be completed. A proposal last year for a senior living facility failed to win approval.
Intergenerational Living & Health Care Inc. said earlier this year it had bought about 57 acres at the site, with Goodman Group serving as the developer and property manager.
The campus is expected to include independent, assisted living and memory care, along with 70 apartments for active adults.
