The 8th annual McKnight’s Senior Living Online Expo takes place Thursday (June 20) and will focus on the ability of technology to improve senior care.

Continuing education credit is available to attendees, who can learn more information or register here.

The virtual doors to the expo will open at 10:30 a.m. ET, when participants will have the chance to network with peers and visit the online exhibition hall. The virtual expo hall also will be open before and after the session.

“Tech evolution: Shaping tomorrow’s senior care to meet evolving needs” will begin at 12:30 p.m. and feature four speakers.

Steve Neff, vice president of healthcare operations at Paradise Valley Estates, a life plan community in Fairfield, CA, will relate real-world experiences about what has been working best. Also speaking will be Patricia Toledo, head of product, senior living and long-term care at MatrixCare; Allison Rainey, head of nursing and clinical informatics at MatrixCare; and Amy Ostrem, vice president of product management at MatrixCare.

Attendees will learn how to leverage technology to enhance resident care, streamline operations and drive business success. They’ll also hear about the trends, innovations and best practices that are shaping the future.

Providers and vendors interested in tech topics should also consider entering the McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards. Entries are being accepted through July 1 (next deadline) and July 9 (late deadline).
