The biggest growing expense in healthcare is the annual Medicare costs on post-acute care, and some consider it to be the most wasteful. At the first annual Post-Acute Care Evolution Summit, Monday and Tuesday, however, experts will introduce new payment models and discuss future policy recommendations using technology to help fix post-acute care.

The event, “$100 billion” will take place at The Omni in Nashville. Post-Acute Care Center for Research will partner with naviHealth, one of the biggest partners in a new Center for Medicaid & Medicare Services bundled payments initiative, to strategize ways of lowering costs of care.
