New rehab management company debuts

QRM (Quality Rehab Management) announced its launch on Jan. 1. The company, which has headquarters in Dallas is serving clients in Georgia and Texas.

Freda Mowad, who has more than 20 years as a speech language pathologist, is the CEO, while Susan Krall, a physical therapist with more than 30 years of experience, is the vice president of strategic partnerships.

The company’s focus is on helping clients with outcomes, operations, financial management, recruiting, medical review and regulatory updates, including PDPM training.

QRM’s intent is to work on the ground level with clients to integrate rehab directly in house, Krall said.

“We at QRM firmly believe that CMS has dealt us their clear expectations of individualized care and outcomes through QMs, 5 STAR reporting, ROPs, QRPs, VBP movement and now PDPM,” she said. “To embrace and exceed these expectations, we believe collaborative teamwork, education  and innovative approaches will be critical for success.”
