The National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration in Long Term Care will open its 29th annual conference Sunday in Austin, TX.

Directors of nursing at long-term care facilities will have the opportunity to learn important updates and trends in the industry through a wide range of events on the conference schedule.

The opening session, “Getting to the Core: Vital Leadership Skills to Nurse Yourself Back to Health,” will be delivered by Stratengy founder and CEO Heather Clarke-Peckerman, MA, CEC, ML-EL. Several other nursing and healthcare professionals will also lead sessions, roundtable discussions and workshops throughout the six-day event. Infection prevention, care quality measurements and risk management are among the topics.
