Nancy Koha is the steady hand that has guided Principle LTC through tumultuous times.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Koha led the charge on safety efforts and ensured a 95% survival rate at the company. She also is responsible for the company’s significant growth in the preceding years, according to her nominator. From 2017 to 2019, Koha spearheaded a notable positive swing in net income, contributing to a remarkable 500% average daily census growth.

Before joining Principle LTC, Koha worked at HCR ManorCare in a variety of positions, including director of market development, manager of market development and nurse liaison/sales and marketing. Her clinical background as a registered nurse has paid dividends in her current role and emphasizes her commitment to exceptional resident and patient care while ensuring effective, efficient healthcare operations.

Beyond her organizational contributions, Koha’s leadership principles have extended to the broader industry Her commitment to fostering care with kindness in a compassionate environment not only exceeds expectations but also fuels growth.

  • While working full-time, Koha traveled weekly from North Carolina to Ohio to be with her mother before she passed away.
  • She has spearheaded programs such as a tuition discount collaboration, an administrator in-training program and a $1,500 college scholarship program at Principle LTC. 
  • She has certification as a trainer for Ohio nurses and social workers who are seeking continuing education credits.
