Lisa Eckley is a veteran of nursing and home health, with a career that spans four decades of excellent, dedicated care. She is co-founder of The LTM Group — a home health, personal care, hospice and rehabilitation provider, where she has provided leadership for 17 years.

Primarily based in Ohio, LTM’s presence in the Midwest has since expanded to include locations in Michigan and Indiana as well, with seven agencies and 600 employees under its umbrella. Eckley’s commitment to excellent, value-based care never has wavered and has helped drive LTM to the success it currently enjoys.

Eckley is committed to more than simply professional care for older adults. Her passion for that often-forgotten population drove her to create a food bank that focuses specifically on providing nutritious food and much-needed supplies for seniors. She also has expanded her focus far beyond her home in the midwestern United States, playing a pivotal part in the creation of a home care nonprofit organization that serves older adults in Uganda.

“Lisa’s lifelong dedication to providing the highest quality of care and customer service, coupled with her commitment to serving veterans and vulnerable communities both locally and in Africa, exemplifies her unwavering commitment to serving others,” her nominator said.

More about Eckley:

  • Eckley volunteers at Honor Flight, a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating veterans, including by taking them to memorials that honor their service.
  • She also has worked with Hannah’s Closet for the past several years to provide hundreds of gifts to families and children in need.
  • She has visited Uganda multiple times, helping provide home care and other services, including providing physicals and disease treatments at an orphanage called Home of Champions.
