Having formerly worked in a variety of capacities in healthcare, Addison Wilczak found her calling in human resources and now is vice president of HR for Ignite Medical Resorts.

She has worked for the organization for just more than a year, but her assimilation into the organization has been seamless, and she “excels at demonstrating our company’s culture with drive and passion,” her nominators said.

As the VP of HR, Wilczak has implemented new policies that have improved operating efficiency and employee satisfaction. She always is eager to help others, according to colleagues.

“She is our champion for payroll-based journal reporting and ensures our facilities are compliant each quarter in that regard,” her nominator said. “She embraces human resources and is always willing to take time to help individuals one-on-one to ensure they have complete understanding of HR regulations and benefits.”

More about Wilczak:

  • Wilczak helped Ignite roll out a new compliance program, transition to being self-insured for employee health insurance, and update key policies and procedures to ensure that the company’s human resource handbook is employee-friendly as well as compliant.
  • She is a graduate of DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management.
  • Wilczak became a licensed nursing home administrator in 2014.
