Medi-Dose has added brightly colored lid-label covers in blue, red, orange, green and pink to help providers call attention to specific classes of drugs.
The five new labels follow the highly popular launch of bright yellow Lid-Label Covers for the company’s circular, oval and multipurpose Medi-Cup blisters.
All Lid-Label Covers provide a tamper-evident and moisture resistant seal. When printed with MILT software, 1-D or 2-D barcodes, graphics, special fonts, tall man lettering, shapes, logos and symbols (such as bio-hazard or NIOSH), they can be used to highlight important dispensing information and minimize the potential for medication error.
Colored labels can be particularly helpful for medications that require special handling, such as those covered by the USP 800 designation for hazardous drugs.
