HIMSS announced that it has released an ICD-10 PlayBook Financial Risk Calculator. The tool was developed with Jvion, a health technology firm that specializes in compliance issues. The calculator takes about 15 minutes to use. It can help operators determine their ICD-10 financial risk profile, identify risk-negating steps — and find ways to increase reimbursement. The self-assessment includes a survey that covers a wide range of financial topics including cash flow, revenue and operational cost.
