HealthSignals has completed the completion of Phase 1 of the Inglis House Campus Wide Wi-Fi project, the company said. Inglis House has 300 adults in long-term care.
Once completed, the network will have a Fiber360 backbone and will cover all resident rooms, the lab, dining and the courtyard.
“We were looking for a comprehensive network with a future proof architecture,” said Charles Moore, Inglis’ Director of Information Services. “Our fiber backbone and modular architecture that HealthSignals designed, ensures that we have the ability to meet our Wi-Fi needs for today and the foreseeable future without constantly redoing the cabling and network.”
HealthSignals’ Wi-Fi helps residents and allows for better communication, the company said. This may include remote monitoring applications, wireless medical carts or robotics.
