CareOne has introduced REX, its latest rehabilitation technology designed to enhance mobility for people with a wide range of impairments.

REX is a hands-free robotic device used to assist with rehabilitation, exercise, walking and activities of daily living. REX lifts a patient from sitting to a supported standing position, allowing additional rehabilitation options that help patients achieve their goals.

The device is fully adjustable to accommodate users of different heights and provide maximum comfort. New users can walk with autonomous control in a few minutes.

REX leaves the arms free, allowing CareOne therapists to incorporate upper body exercises and activities of daily living into patients’ individualized therapy programs. The device also reduces strain on therapists.

CareOne operates 11 assisted living and three long-term acute care hospitals throughout New Jersey and recently launched its At Home service.
