General Electric’s GE Capital division will make zero-percent interest loans available to providers purchasing the firm’s healthcare information-related products. The Stimulus Simplicity program is expected to offer up to $100 million in interim financing to providers for projects that qualify for funds from the U.S. government’s economic-stimulus package. The federal package will allocate $19 billion for healthcare information technology.
