Tomas Mendez has been named vice president of operations for Frasier, a not-for-profit life plan community in Boulder, CO. He will oversee all resident services and programs throughout the 20-acre community and will work to support and enhance Frasier’s recently completed $100 million expansion.
Mendez comes to Frasier from Franke at Seaside in Mount Pleasant, SC, where he held multiple positions over the past 14 years, most recently that of senior director of independently living.
In addition to his senior living tenure, Mendez served as an adjunct professor and visiting faculty member with the College of Charleston for 15 years. He has written or co-authored numerous publications on wellness and aging.
Mendez earned his undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and his master’s degree from the University of Maryland.
