Want to make your medical director happy? Spring for an iPad. A survey by Aptilon shows that 79% of physicians prefer the iPad, while 12% would go for a Windows-based tablet and nine percent favor Android tablets. More doctors are using tablets to view medical images, access electronic health records and remotely monitor health conditions. With the iPad 2 featuring cameras in front and back, doctors and patients can also hold video consultations by using the device’s FaceTime application.
