Names of the finalists in the 2024 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards program were released late Wednesday by program organizers.

Now in its 14th year, the competition offered an expanded roster of 16 categories, and providers and their marketplace partners responded in record numbers. Six finalists were selected in most categories, while a few have more and a handful have fewer due to a limited number of qualified entries.

“We’re thrilled to recognize these deserving finalists,” said McKnight’s Editorial Director John O’Connor. “They are showing innovative ways technology can be harnessed to improve care and operations in this field.”

Each category fielded submissions from skilled nursing, senior living and home care operators, along with respective market partners. Providers and companies of all sizes, from both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, entered and populate the finalists list.

Submissions were judged by a distinguished, independent panel of 21 long-term care stakeholders.

Awards ceremony and CE webinars

Gold, Silver and Bronze award winners will be revealed during a virtual ceremony at 4 p.m. ET Oct. 3 as part of the McKnight’s Technology Awards + Summit. Thought leadership webinars offering CE credit will precede the ceremony at 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Registration details for the ceremony and webinars can be found here. Details about opportunities to celebrate and honor winners in person will be released in the future.

Tech Awards winners will be featured in coverage both online and in print. They will be recognized across McKnight’s Long-Term Care News, McKnight’s Senior Living and McKnight’s Home Care on all their social and traditional media platforms.
