The Ensign Group announced it had acquired the real estate and operations of two assisted living facilities in Texas and three assisted living facilities in Wisconsin, all of which had been operated by affiliates of Brookdale Senior Living.
The facilities are Meadowcreek Senior Living, a 37-unit building in Lancaster, TX; Paris Chalet Senior Living, a 37-unit facility in Paris, TX; Maple Meadows Assisted LIving, a 19-unit building in Fond du Lac, WI; North Point Senior Living, a 19-unit assisted living facility in Kenosha, WI; and Lakepoint Villa Assisted Living, a 19-unit assisted living building in Oshkosh, WI.
The facilities had a combined occupancy rate of 80% at the time of acquisition. The deal closed June 16. The acquisitions mean Ensign now has 222 healthcare facilities.
