K4Connect announced the creation of its Content Management Module (CMM), an optional add-on to its flagship K4Community, that is built specifically for senior living community residents, staff and operators.

The K4Community CMM content creation, management and publishing platform “will revolutionize the way senior living communities create, manage and share content, while dramatically improving resident access to real-time events and information,” the company said.

The product will offer new options in digital signage, in-room television and other content creation, the company said. Its deployment model allows communities to turn any TV into a “smart TV” by using Wi-Fi. It also has a flexible templating engine, content scheduling and live content that automatically updates weather and news.

Residents can use the module to look at dining menus, event calendars, news, notifications and surveys.

“As with all of our new and enhanced offerings, we worked closely with our senior living partners to rethink current approaches, workflows and end user experiences,” said Derek Holt, president of K4Connect. “By taking a modern, fresh look at how content is created, managed and published, we have built a new cloud-based solution, which eliminates major pain points and increases transparency for our customers.”
