Cincinnati-based CommuniCare Health Services has purchased 13 long-term care facilities previously managed by Atrium Centers. With the acquisition, the privately held company expands its holding to more than 80 facilities in seven Mideast and Atlantic states and employs more than 10,000. “It’s fufilling to be able to extend our reach,” said CommuniCare Executive Vice President Isaac Rosedale. All staff at the acquired facilities were expected to stay in place with a focus on a “seamless” transition of care, officials said.
