Featuring a main stage with eight speakers, this year’s Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference will feature leading experts on workforce development, gerontology, resident programming, branding, building design, artificial intelligence and technology.

The conference will be in San Diego with eight speakers sharing the mainstage on May 15 and 16. Two unique learning paths will help leaders gather ideas and strategies from dynamic speakers or engage with industry peers in solutions-oriented discussions.

Global researcher Marcus Buckingham will talk about cultivating employees’ strengths to create a winning environment. A talent expert at ADP Research Institute, he spent nearly 20 years as a senior researcher at Gallup Organization.

Former Airbnb chief marketing officer Jonathan Mildenhall has extensive experience helping companies define their purpose. He’ll talk about how that can translate it into effective branding and marketing.

Other speakers include Victor Regnier, a professor of architecture and gerontology at the University of Southern California, and IBM executive Lilian Myers, who leads the company’s Global Aging Initiative.

Former “Good Morning America” host Joan Lunden returns to host Heroes Awards on Tuesday morning.

Participants can also step into “The Hive,” 40-minute peer-to-peer knowledge-exchange sessions on niche topics or enjoy “Fireside Chats” with senior living CEOs. One panel will highlight women and another small companies, said Nathan Nickens, Argentum’s vice president of programming & innovation:

In another first, the conference will also offer a test prep course for the Certified Director of Assisted Living credential on Monday afternoon.

“We are so pleased to present a new conference format centered on the educational, networking, and solutions-focused needs senior living professionals most desire,” said James Balda, Argentum president and CEO.

Registration is open, with early bird rates through Feb. 23.
