The American Health Information Management Association will hold its newly renamed annual conference Sept. 14-18 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Once again, it will offer presentations from health information management professionals, innovators and government leaders.

AHIMA19: Health Data and Information Conference (formerly AHIMA Convention and Exhibit) will explore best practices and insights on clinical documentation; patient access and privacy regarding health information; advice on coding, compliance, revenue cycle, emerging technologies and other top issues.

A new wrinkle this year will be a Pitch Competition, which will challenge applicants to address how health data and information can advance healthcare.
