Members of the American Health Care Association will be spending the next week preparing their best lobbying pitches in advance of the group’s “Capitol Hill Fly-in” event June 3-4. The Congressional Briefing attempts to have providers from as many states as possible press AHCA’s points of emphasis with their respective lawmakers. Proposals about the “Doc fix,” bad debt provisions, observation stay rules and Medicaid provider assessments will be hot topics. There also will be an opportunity to earn continuing education credits and hear top-name speakers, such as Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and investigative reporter Bob Woodward, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Joe Courtney (D-CT).

Conference headquarters will be the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Capitol Hill. For more information about attending, click here.
