Commercial carpet manufacturer Tarkett has introduced a new line developed in conjunction with menswear designer Jhane Barnes.
Fabricate was developed to effectively hide soil and coordinate easily with other flooring selections. Tarkett patented Barnes’ design, which flips and rotates a series of tiny repeating modules to create an almost-solid visual. Each six-foot repeat includes more than a thousand rotating motifs, making the overall pattern impossible to find.
The Fabricate pattern and color palette were designed to complement Barnes’ other products in the Tarkett portfolio, especially the Blockade and Soundblock series, which use the same color names for easy pairings.
Fabricate is available in moisture-impermeable Powerbond for quick installation in large spaces or modular tile for smaller areas and creative inserts, creating ideal flooring solutions for office and hospitality spaces. Fabricate is also available on Tarkett’s ethos Modular with Omnicoat Technology, a nonPVC backing made from recycled windshields.
