MatrixCare and its sister brands are sporting new logos as part of an initiative by ResMed that stresses the cross-setting seamlessness of its software platforms.

ResMed, which operates MatrixCare, Brightree and HEALTHCAREfirst, announced its WellConnected initiative and related changes last week. The network offers solutions geared for HME, home health, hospice, skilled nursing, life plan communities, senior living and private duty settings.

The goal of the rebrand is to underscore that the ecosystem delivers interoperability for providers outside of the hospital — resulting in better collaboration, an improved experience for the more than 90 million patients covered by the ResMed network, more efficient workflows, and improved outcomes.

The new logos include a “by ResMed” tagline, symbolizing the united, ongoing creation of a single connected network of software solutions across multiple out-of-hospital care settings.

“The WellConnected initiative further communicates the ResMed SaaS approach to delivering an out-of-hospital ecosystem that streamlines transitions of care for patients and providers, which improves the experience and outcomes for seniors, their families, and healthcare providers,” said ResMed SaaS President Raj Sodhi.

ResMed has grown significantly since April 2016, when it acquired Brightree, a home medical equipment provider software management company. Last year, it acquired HEALTHCAREfirst, a software provider for agencies serving home health and hospice clients, and MatrixCare, the three-time “Best in KLAS” winner for long-term post-acute care software.
