WISCONSIN — An $82 billion, two-year budget that would increase reimbursement rates for Wisconsin nursing homes was recently approved by the Republican-controlled Legislature.
The budget was awaiting sign-off from Gov. Tony Evers (D) at press time.
It rejects $1.6 billion in federal Medicaid financing but increases nursing home reimbursement rates by 7%.
