John Kane, a team leader at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, will highlight the agenda when the National Association for the Support of Long-Term Care (NASL) holds its annual winter meeting February 25-27 in Washington.

Mark Parkinson, president and CEO of the American Health Care Association, will kick off the legislative and regulatory conference with a keynote address at 1 p.m. the first day on how nursing homes are preparing for the onset of the Patient-Driven Payment Model.

The agenda includes sessions on electronic health records, various therapy matters and other topics of high interest to NASL members. The meeting concludes with visits to individuals’ respective lawmakers on Capitol Hill that Wednesday.
