Avalon Southwest Health & Rehabilitation, a 211-bed skilled nursing facility in Tucson, AZ, recently sold for $15 million or $71,000 per bed.
The sale was brokered by Evans Senior Investments.
Built in 1983, the facility was managed by Avalon Healthcare and positioned within a robust network of local hospitals, including neighboring Banner University Medical Center. Evans identified the buyer only as a Chicago-based owner/operator looking to establish a presence in Arizona.
