MainPointe Pharmaceuticals has announced the availability of Dr. Smith’s Adult Barrier Spray, which helps to treat and prevent rashes and chafing.
The touch-free application product works to reduce those symptoms stemming from Incontinence Associated Dermatitis, or “IAD.” The company is marketing the over-the-counter spray to both consumers and long-term care facilities.
Dr. Smith’s spray application, the company says, lowers the chance of cross contamination, bolstering infection control, while also cutting down on friction.
