The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, or “AMDA,” recently debuted a new podcast for professionals in the field.

Dubbed as “AMDA On-The-Go,” the audio show offers up interviews with experts, along with the latest updates on research and other issues worth attention in the industry. Wayne Saltsman, M.D., chief medical officer of continuing care at Lahey Health, Burlington, MA, and an AMDA board member, hosts the show.

“We keep our finger on the pulse of what our members need to provide the best possible care for older adults, and cutting-edge news and education on the go is essential for busy professionals who depend on mobile devices for communication and information,” Executive Director Christopher Laxton, said in an announcement.

The first 15-minute show, which is now available, focuses on the “Effects of Legal Access to Cannabis on Scheduled II-IV Drug Prescriptions.”
