Managed Care Group LLC, an affiliate of Prime Care Technologies, is offering a new case management and reimbursement app to the post-acute market.
The Duluth, GA, company says Managed Care MASTER synthesizes information from managed care contracts, electronic medical records and case management reports. It aims to help skilled-nursing facilities to maximize their reimbursements, according to a press release.
The new app utilizes best practices from managed-care expert Mix Solutions Inc. It was tested in a pilot program with more than 10 organizations and 300-plus facilities. One of those testers, Mission Health Communities, is using the app across 29 facilities in five states.
“Managed Care MASTER is changing the game for post-acute care organizations, enabling them to mitigate varying contracts with ease so they can instead focus on quality patient care,” Susie Mix, CEO of Mix Solutions, said in a release. “We are pleased to invest our deep expertise in managed care contract negotiation and case management systems into this application.”
