Columbine Health Systems will build a skilled nursing facility in Windsor, CO, along with The Westwood Independent Living.
The facilities will sit at 14th and Main Streets in Windsor. The single-story 45-bed SNF will offer short-term rehab, long-term care and hospice. The provider will remodel its Columbine
Commons Health & Rehab, which it opened in 2013, to become a secure dementia care facility. It will have 30 beds and all private rooms.
Earlier this month, Columbine announced it would build 34 patio homes at its senior-care campus in Fort Collins, CO.
