Silverado has bought a skilled nursing facility in Texas, which will be called the Silverado Hermann Park Memory Care and Rehabilitation community in Houston.

It will serve 50 people with memory-impairing conditions, as well as offer services in the SNF section. Silverado Hospice will provide hospice care in the 80-bed community.

The community will be in the Houston Medical Center area and is the sixth in the greater Houston area.

The addition of Silverado Hermann Park followed news of Silverado buying three other Texas communities, one each in Cedar Park, Houston and Plano. All of the properties had been owned by U.S. Memory Care.
