The American Association of Critical-Care Nurses has released new reference guides.

The pocket-sized guide provide help on the latest information, including hemodynamic, cardiovascular and pulmonary management standards.

“Nurses frequently buy AACN pocket cards for themselves and as gifts for their colleagues,” said Linda Bell, RN, MSN, clinical practice specialist at AACN. “Hospitals and nursing schools also use them in classes or their critical care orientation.”

Other topics in the cards address sepsis, medication calculation and neurological assessment. The full-color, two-sided reference cards are accordion-folded and laminated.
