CareRise has said its CareRise Index, a new rating system for post-acute care providers, will help provide assessments and evaluation.
CareRise Apps and websites are part of the real-time evaluation. CareRise recently acquired PatientVote.com as a platform for gathering patient reviews.
Around 8 million people each year are discharged from hospitals to PAC providers, including skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities.
“By utilizing the latest in technology applications today (such as the smartphone itself), patients will be able to submit their direct feedback on the services they are receiving in real-time, and furthermore, make that information extremely useful to not only consumers, but everyone working in the healthcare professional community,” CareRise Founder and CEO Tim Goux said.
