Aetna Innovation Labs announced it is offering video-guided physical therapy from SimpleTherapy.
Simple Therapy offers a personalized pain recovery system at no charge to the nation’s 22 million veterans for a year. Veterans can enroll between now and Dec. 31.
The program provides personalized, 15-minute online video pain recovery sessions that address 80% of all musculoskeletal pain and physical therapy prescriptions.
The approach eliminates some of the barriers for those that need PT, such as traveling to a clinic, having expensive co-pays and a lack of motivation for continuing self-management.
Veterans do not have to be members of Aetna health plans to enroll.
