Yardi® bought Optimus EMR Inc., giving more long-term care functionality to Yardi’s software portfolio. Optimus EMR Inc., created in 2001, is in 30 states.

The acquisition will allow Yardi Senior Living Suite™ to broaden into skilled nursing, adult daycare and home health, according to Eric Kolber, vice president of senior living for Yardi.

“A single-stack solution is the most efficient approach to data management. The benefits include optimal staffing, maximized revenues, and improved resident care,” he said.

Yardi, based in Santa Barbara, CA, said it will maintain and expand the current Optimus teams in Irvine, CA, and Mansfield, MA.
