McKnight’s Long-Term Care News has been recognized for its print magazine, columns and “McKnight’s Daily Editors’ Notes” in the 2015 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence program.
James M. Berklan, Elizabeth Newman and John O’Connor received a Grand Award in social media for their blogs in Daily Editors’ Notes. The McKnight’s editorial staff earned an Award of Excellence in the Magazines, Journals & Tabloids — Print Over 32 pages category. Editor James M. Berklan also was recognized for his January and September 2014 “Editor’s Desk” columns with an Award of Excellence in Writing Departments & Columns.
Overall, McKnight’s has earned 35 national APEX awards. The 27th annual APEX competition determined winners based on excellence in editorial content, graphic design and communication.
