More than eight in 10 Americans said doctors are being forced to leave their practices because litigation has made medical liability insurance unaffordable, according to a poll put out by the Health Coalition on Liability and Access.
The poll also reported that nearly 75% of Americans want Congress to pass reforms to fix the medical liability crisis, including a limit on non-economic damages.
