» RosieConnect LLC announced integration with PointClickCare, allowing providers to deliver resident vital signs and weights directly into the company’s EHR platform. By eliminating manual entry of vital signs and weights, providers can save time documenting, improve accuracy, and expedite the flow of critical clinical information from bedside to the resident’s electronic chart, the company said. COMS Interactive also announced a partnership with PointClickCare in May.

» Optimus EMR announced the Indiana Board of Pharmacy approved its application as an Electronic Data Intermediary. Only e-prescriptions submitted through an approved EDI are considered valid in the state. The approval allows Indiana customers to increase efficiency with order entry, and means increased safety and efficiency, the company said.

» Briggs Healthcare has announced a partnership with //SOS/Corporation that will mean the first licensed Briggs documentation in an electronic format for the long-term care market. //SOS/Corporation sells financial and clinical software solutions to continuing care retirement communities, skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. Briggs Healthcare also announced a partnership in April with myCNAjobs.

» Liaison Healthcare announced a partnership with AOD Software that will allow AOD customers to connect with more than 120 labs and imaging vendors integrated in the Liaison EMR-Link™ hub. The integration has been tested for two years.

» SafetyCare Technologies LLC recently acquired Avalon Technologies. With the addition of Avalon’s products, SafetyCare will now offers products ranging from personal emergency response systems and nurse call solutions. 

» MatrixCare/MDI Achieve joined Carequality as a founding member. The group is “dedicated to accelerating progress in health data exchange among multi-platform networks, healthcare providers, and electronic health record (EHR) and health information exchange vendors,” the company said.
