Staff scheduling and labor management software company OnShift announced a new release meant to support Affordable Care Act compliance requirements.

Under the ACA, employers may have to increase to whom they provide health insurance, based on the number of employees and number of house that they work. OnShift’s new predictive analytics will help providers be proactive and avoid additional costs, the company said. For example, schedulers can see predictions and receive alerts on possible work-hour overages, and the software reports employees over part-time work-hour thresholds.

The end result is providers being able to modify schedules in advance to control hours and costs per ACA policies.
