Silverchair Learning Systems has been approved as a curriculum developer by the state of Washington’s Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). Silverchair Learning has worked closely with DSHS officials to achieve this status in response to Initiative 1163 (I-1163), voted on Washington residents in November 2011. One goal of the initiative is to increase the training and education of caregivers providing care in adult family homes/assisted living communities (formerly called boarding homes) and in the home environment.
