American Dryer Corporation recently announced new initiatives and a revamping of its executive-level staff. The latter development includes the promotion of Joseph Bazzinotti (formerly chief operating officer) to the position of president. In the past year, ADC has invested more than $1 million into improving its customer service efforts. With a new emphasis on technology, ADC is overhauling its Web site and automating parts ordering with a new online portal. A revamped phone system and department restructuring have reduced response times. Other improvements have allowed ADC to consistently ship almost all ordered parts within 24 hours.
