Organizers are in the home stretch of plans for the 35th annual meeting and anniversary celebration for ADVION, the association for long-term care ancillary providers.

All events will take place Oct. 6-8 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando and the adjacent Orange County Convention Center. They will be run in conjunction with the AHCA/NCAL Delivering Solutions 24 annual meeting.

Kicking off activities will be the 10th annual ADVION/AHCA Rehabilitation Therapy Symposium Sunday morning (Oct. 6).

Segments of that bonus event will include: “Unlocking the Value of Therapy in Care Collaboration: A Pathway to Enhanced Patient Outcomes”; “Transforming Interdisciplinary Care Teams: Harnessing Technology to Propel an Integrated Approach Between Rehabilitation and Nursing”; ISNP and the Importance of Resident Centered Care in a Managed Care World”; and “The Emerging Hybrid Care Model: Combining inpatient and outpatient care with digital health, telehealth, big data and AI for optimized value, outcomes and transparency.”

After a welcome lunch, Mark Parkinson, the retiring president and CEO of the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living will deliver a keynote talk at 2 p.m.

Another highlight will be the Advion 35th year anniversary celebration from 6-8 p.m. that night.

Sessions on workforce matters, information technology, cybersecurity, and legislative/regulatory affairs will follow over the next two days.

ADVION will also co-host with AHCA/NCAL an exhibition hall of vendors from 11:30-3 p.m. on Monday and 10:30-1:30 p.m. on Tuesday of that week.

The ADVION 35th Annual Meeting and Anniversary Celebration will focus on decision-makers in areas of clinical, compliance, regulatory, health IT, ancillary services, legal, and digital solutions, as well as long-term and post-acute care, rehab, home health, and outpatient therapy providers.
