Lauren Murray’s passion for improving the lives of those around her in long-term care has been a constant in a career that has spanned four decades and taken her from her start as a social worker through attainment of her administrator license to her current position as a senior vice president. As long and illustrious as her career has been, Murray has never stopped keeping an eye out for new solutions to old problems. In recent years, she introduced remote monitoring and artificial intelligence-based falls prevention technology for Genesis Healthcare, opening the gateway to new data insights into residents’ falls and ensuring quick care in response. Her constant drive for improvement is helping usher in a new era of technology and better care outcomes.
